  • Sunday 7 June 2009 Highlights: Sakkah  Pyramids, Papyrus Museum Today I managed to get to breakfast having not eaten breakfast yesterday after the feast from the multiple plane/lounge visits).  I went for a walk and then broke all my travel rules by talking to a local resident and booking a private day tour. • Tuesday 2 June 2009 Highlights: Great fun at Knott’s Berry Farm A very cool day. Originally we had Universal Studios on the agenda but I’ll be back to see that in January with Andrew, plus Knott’s had a very good senior discount so my mum was happy to give them a go.

  • Monday 1 June 2009 Highlights: Citadel Shopping The very last long drive of the trip saw as go to Los Angeles. We stopped in a small missionary town on the way but I didn’t find it particularly interesting.

  • Saturday 30 May 2009 Highlights: Spectacular Sea World Today has a theme park day, something I was looking forward to. • Friday 29 May 2009 Highlights: Las Vegas Outlet, Chula Vista Shopping Mall Another big driving day (about 5.5 hours), but first we had one more go at gambling and somehow we both won, my mum won about $20 and I finished up $1 (hey it’s a win). My mum then used her winning to buy…
