Highlights: Citadel Shopping

The very last long drive of the trip saw as go to Los Angeles. We stopped in a small missionary town on the way but I didn’t find it particularly interesting.

We did later however find my mum one of the first major US Factory Store Outlets that she had ever visited the Citadel (I was the one who found it actually).  Mum quickly found her way around the place, and once again the grandchildren did very well.

Our hotel (Good Nite Buena Park) was very good and also handy for Knott’s Berry Farm. When mum asked for directions he was shocked to find out we would walk the 1 mile.

Well it turned out to be about 1.8 miles and mum was struggling near the end, but I think this was due to doing a round trip without a break and going the wrong way around the park to find the entrance. There is a chance the weather will be good tomorrow so it should be good.
