    Highlights: Long countryside private bus ride, a quiet beer in Medellín

    Today was a repositioning day to get from Salento to Medellín. That meant leaving our hotel in Salento at 7 am and attempting to get to Medellín before peak hour traffic.

  • World Trip 2019: Day 5 – Armenia to Salento, Colombia

    Highlights: Cocora Valley Hike, Playing Tejo (Colombian traditional sport).

    We started our day with an included breakfast at our Armenia estate and it was then off on a 50 minute drive to Salento for today’s activities – basically hiking and later trying to cause explosions! (more…)

    Highlights: Recuca Coffee Farm, Mi Monaco Farm Visit

    Today started with nice included breakfast at the beautiful Mi Monaco Estate. The sun shining and the excellent company of the group over breakfast was an ideal start to the day.

  • World Trip 2019: Day 3 – Bogotá to Armenia, Colombia

    Highlights: Paloquemao Market, Hostal Mi Monaco

    The trip begins today. My tour group picked me up from last night’s ’emergency’ accommodation at the Hotel Dann on the way to our first event a visit to the Paloquemao Market. Our Chief Experience Officer (CEO) Miguel introduced himself to me and a quick hello to my 12 fellow tour members.
