    Highlights: Itaipu Dam Water release

    Andrew skipped breakfast but made it down for our 11 am trip to Paraguay to buy electronics and go shopping.   We weren’t stopped at the border entering Paraguay and before we knew it where in a new country.   We did some shopping in Paraguay, I ended up buying some replacement shorts, Andrew got a tennis top and a chip to play DS games but unfortunately he got the wrong SD disc so he still needs to buy another one.

    Highlights: Iguassu Falls from Argentina side, speed boat ride under the Falls, Devil’s Throat.

    What an amazing, stunning day. First we started with a great included breakfast, the best by far in the trip. It was a little difficult getting Andrew up to breakfast in time and he did struggle a little throughout the day due to a minor headache (ice cream at lunch helped him recover for a short time).   Having dropped off our laundry we headed for our third country of the trip – Argentina.

    Highlights: Natural Wonder of the World – Iguassu Falls

    Our 21 hour and 30 minute bus rides from Paraty come to an end at 11 am which was followed up with a short shuttle ride to our new hotel which looked very impressive.   Unfortunately not all our rooms were ready and Andrew, Karen and myself found ourselves waiting for our rooms until just before 1 pm, so a little wait until we could have a quick shower and then visit the famous Iguassu Falls on the Brazilian side.

    Highlights: Overnight Public Bus Adventure

    A curse of a traveller is long bus and plane trips.   Today was the day for a 21 hour plus trip.   After doing some shopping with Martin and Andrew to prepare for the big trip and transferring some money to our VISA Travel card it was first off to São Paulo.

    Highlights: Jeep Tour of Paraty, Capoeira martial arts demonstration

    This was the first time the group split to do different activities.   I went on a Jeep Tour while Andrew went on a small hike to a local beach and played games like table tennis and had some local alcoholic drinks.
