Highlights: Aqua Azul and Misol Ha waterfalls, Hotel in the forest

The group decided a few days ago to upgrade our transportation to a private van for today’s 6 hour trip to Palenque. This was an excellent idea as it allowed us to visit two waterfalls upon the journey baki up the journey. The trip was extremely windy and slow with lots of speed humps to slow you down, they appeared to be every 50 metres at times!

Highlights: Sumidero Canyon, Local Market, San Cristóbal Cathedral

A free day for the group and I decided to accompany Robin, James, Cynthia and Sam on the Sumidero Canyon activity. Highlights: Largest Tree in the World, Zapotec ruins, Petrified Waterfalls, Mezcal alcohol, Traditional clothes weaving.

An enormous day of activities and and embarrassing moment for myself. Today I signed up for a multiple event tour out of Oaxaca. This started with a visit to Tule which has the largest (wildest) tree in the world. They had to do testing to make sure it was only one tree it is so large. A local girl highlighted different imagines in the trunk and branches. The nearby church like tiny in comparison to this massive tree.
