ACCESS RULES

• Only Singapore Airline First Class passengers flying from Singapore.

Note: You are not allowed to bring a guest in who isn’t flying Singapore Airline First Class

LOUNGE LOCATION
This lounge is nestled within the SilverKris Lounge and the First Class Lounge which are located in Terminal 3. On arrival your boarding pass will be scanned and if eligible you will be escorted to The Private Room.

Lounge Opening hours: 5.30 AM to 2.30 am (daily).
Note: The SilverKris Lounge is open 24 hours if The Private Room is closed.

SilverKris Lounge is the first entry point to get to The Private Room

LOUNGE AREA
The lounge seats around 25 people and is divided up into two main areas; one a seating lounge and the other the dining room. There are also two private rooms available and a family & nursing room.

FOOD AND DRINKS
There is a small buffet area with snacks but nothing special.

The main food option is via the sitdown dining room for full menu service.

For my dining experience I had for breakfast scrambled eggs and toast.

For lunch I had US Beef Burger (small like a slider) and ice cream.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Includes: Toilets / Showers / Wifi / A Private room / One computer / Power Charging Outlets / Family & nursing room / Newspapers and magazines

The shower facilities are excellent and are always staffed (along with the toilets in the same area) so everything is always cleaned immediately after use.

WHAT’S GOOD
The overall elegance and class. Very attentive staff.

WHAT’S NOT SO GOOD
For a very exclusive lounge I was surprised that there isn’t sometging extra like a Spa service (Qantas First Class Sydney and Melbourne Longes) or Cabana room (Cathay Pacific Hong Kong First Class Lounge) or something similar to really set out the Singapore Airlines The Private Room experience.

Very much a first world problem however and you can see Singapore Airlines is going for elegance and exclusivity which this definitely is.

SUMMARY
The Private Room is the exclusive domain of Singapore Airlines First Class travellers only and it is just elegance and class in every detail. If you have access make sure you use it.
