Lounge Review – Emirates Dubai First Class Lounge (Terminal C)

When visited: November 2017
Time of day: Lunch (12:47 to 14.34)
Rating: 4.5 / 5

– Flying First or business class on an Emirates of Qantas flight later that day.
– Emirates Skywards Platinum or Gold member whose next onward flight that day carries a QF or EK flight number
– Qantas Platinum or Gold member flying international flight later that day
– Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by an adult given this is a licensed area.

I accessed the Emirates International First Class Lounge as I was flying on Emirates First Class on EK721 Dubai to Nairobi.

Note: The major First Class Lounge is in Terminal B.

The Emirates Dubai (Terminal C) First Class Lounge is located opposite Gate C22.

The lounge is spread across two levels. The top level includes a sleeping area, a small dinning area, and smoking seats while the ground level has the main dinning area, buffet options, computer area and non-smoking seats.

There is a menu service wherever you are in the lounge, you don’t need to go to either dinning area. The staff will come up to you are ask what they can do for you. I selected entry of spring rolls and wagyu beef burger with fries. The buffet area has a wide range of options.

For dessert I select a simple glazed donut to go as boarding commenced earlier then I expect. All food served in this lounge is halal.

There are several showers, clean toilets, and several TVs running news channels. There is also magazines and newspapers. There were 5 computers and one printer. The wifi service provided very fast speeds, you will need the password to access the secure network but the password is on every table

Nice quiet lounge, comfortable chairs, fast internet, great staff, wide range of food which was very tasty.

Nothing really but after hearing about the over the top First Lounge in Terminal B I was thinking about how this lounge doesn’t have a spa treatment or cigar lounge.

A great lounge to visit which I enjoyed very much. It was quiet while I was there and it’s unusual to see smokers inside a building yet alone a lounge but they are on a different level.
