Highlights: Sunrise in Pantanal

Today we left the stunning  Pantanal but first some of us got up at 5.00 am to see a amazing sunrise.  On my return to the cabin I found that Andrew had considered waking up, but decided against it 🙂

Emma and Kelly got attacked by mosquitoes. After breakfast we headed out of the Pantanal which was a very rough ride. We stopped for lunch while Andrew and Martin risked life going fishing, unfortunately they got nothing; well Andrew pulled up a tree branch! However they escaped serious problems from the mosquitoes.

We all them played some pool with 3 matches in a row decided by the loser hitting in the white ball of the black ball, very skilful group I guess 🙂

We then headed off and crossed the border but without David, who had to make sure border control didn’t know he was a tour leader. We got through without any problems they didn’t even illegally charge us to gain entry like we were warned. David got concerned while waiting for the train when Shrina and Kelly went shopping and they had returned when checkin started but it all ended well and we were off for our overnight journey.
