World Trip 2009-2010: Day 19 – Bonito, Brazil

Today we went to Rio da Prata which is a private farm with a really clear river which we went snorkelling down but not swimming (swimming can cause the dirt to kick up, we float instead). This was an amazing experience and we got some great underwater photos. Martin got eaten alive by the mosquitoes as he left his back exposed during the 30 minute walk to the river. After our hard day we enjoyed a well earned rest on hammocks, some sneaky people took photos of us sleeping. This was a great day; I really loved seeing the fish up so close and just drifting with the river tide.
