Tuesday 24 December 2024 Highlights: Experiencing the Florida Keys chain of bridges, Conch Train Tour of Key West, Erin arriving in Melbourne, Talking to my family at their Christmas lunch
Today I had organised a 15+ hour day trip down to Key West. I had been fascinated with this key of islands and bridge linking to Key West since watching the movie True Lies.
On day 25 of this world trip it was time to farewell my niece after an amazing adventure together. Erin was ready to go home after such a fast-paced trip. I’m not as sure I was ready for her to leave.

We started our last day in Ecuador with a nice buffet breakfast at the hotel and then took a nice walk around El Ejido Park which was right across from the Hilton Colon Hotel.
Saturday 21 December 2024 Highlights: Charles Darwin Research Station

It was time to farewell the Galapagos Islands. Today we were squeezing in a visit to Charles Darwin Research Station as we missed that on our first day in the Galapagos.

Our last full day abroad the Reina Silvia Voyager had arrived. After a rough sailing night, we enjoyed breakfast today wondering what new creature or landscape we would experience today.
Thursday 19 December 2024 Highlights: Walking on old lave flows, Finding Penguins, Swimming with Sharks, Treking for a great view.
We started today with a visit to Sullivan Bay part of Santiago Island. This area had a major volcano eruption over a hundred years ago. As there is little rain in this area the now hard former lava creates unusual patterns.
