Highlights: Swimming in the Caribbean Sea, St Lucia coast, exploring the landscape of St Lucia, New Year’s celebration
A big day was planned for the last day of 2024. I got an early breakfast at the Windjammer buffet restaurant and picked up a towel for today’s Jeep and Catamaran tour of St Lucia.

Highlights: The views from Rockland Estate of Sint Maarten, The comedy and magic of Bill Cook
My booked activity for a catamaran cruise around Sint Maarten and a snorkel in the Caribbean Sea was unfortunately cancelled today. There wasn’t much left to book by the time I knew of the cancellation but I hoped my selection of a chairlift to view Sint Maarten from its highest point would be a good replacement.

Highlights: Ghosts & Legends of Old San Juan Tour, Exploring Castillo San Cristobal (largest fortress built in the America)
A morning on the ship meant time to relax, explore and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean rolling by. We didn’t arrive until 2.00 pm in Puerto Rico which had a one-hour time change (so 1.00 pm arrival on Maimi time).

Highlights: The Labadee Coastline, Visiting Labadee local village
Today was my first shore visit for this Caribbean Cruise. While this stop is for Haiti, basically a failed country at this point, it is in Labadee a very remote part of the country.
