    Highlights: Finnair Non-Schengen Business Class Lounge

    Today is the start of the long journey home. Six of us had organised to go to the airport together – Theresa, Ivan, Megan, Alexa, Darby and myself. We had breakfast together and order an Uber van. T

    he vehicle that showed up however was not a van, if we had somehow gotten in it would have been a clown car! Our second Uber however could handle 6 passengers, a nice way to keep costs low, especially if the airport a little bit away.

  • World Trip 2024: Day 29 – Hvar to Split, Croatia

    Highlights: Smooth Ferry Crossing, Exploring Diocletian’s Palace, Farewelling our group

    Early morning start as we needed to drop our bags off for transfer to the ferry at 6.30 am. With the breakfast buffet opening at 6.30 am and us needing to walk to the ferry at 7 am today was not the day to be late. It turned out the weather was overcast meaning that yesterday’s full day got the best weather.

    Highlights: Enjoying Palmizana Island

    Today was a day of leisure on Hvar with a morning visit to Palmizana Island. First up I was woken up early by a crying toddler 😦 But breakfast helped get the day back on track before our cruise to Pakleni Island.
