Highlights: Reunion’s – Darby with Lana, me with Boots and JunoThe journey home can be a long one, especially from Europe and today was the end of that journey that start on Saturday 4 May back in Split. Today started with an overnight flight from Singapore (review here).

Highlights: Universal Studios SingaporeThe last day of this trip with a fun activity had suddenly arrived. After a comfortable sleep in Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel we took our main bags to be checked in to the Jewel Early Bag Check in facility. For Jetstar this allows you to drop your bags 12 hours before the flight.

Highlights: The Jewel Water ShowOne of the major downsides of living in Australia is how far away for the majority of the world we are. Returning back takes a long time. The first leg getting back was Split to Helsinki (3 hours), than a major transit (8 hours) followed by Helsinki to Singapore (13 hours).
Today was the Helsinki to Singapore flight (review here). The positives were having an empty seat next to me (which Darby had as well) and the flight was faster than scheduled by one hour (‘only’ 12 hours 20 minutes).
