    Highlights: Trishaw ride, Taoism Temple.

Leaving the hotel at 7.30 am we commenced our journey out of Singapore and onto Malaysia for the next 6 days in a new country. We caught multiple taxis to the bus station with no one getting lost. The bus was on the luxury side which surprised my a bit, we will see if the standard is maintained.  The air-conditioning made it a lot more pleasant in this humid area.

  • In 4 days I commence extended leave and travel round the world. Over 139 days I’ll be visiting 18 countries and Antarctica. A few days ago I updated my Frankfurt to London and London to Frankfurt flights to business for approximately $90 each, seemed like a good deal.

This is especially for 14-15 October travelling days that starts in Bangkok and goes via Singapore then Frankfurt and than London and finally finishes in Keflavik, Iceland. This is 42 hrs 35 mins from first flight to last landing (with lots of stopover times).

This trip will feature 24 flights utilising a combination of a Oneworld Round the World J (280K points) Award and a series of short haul paid and award flights across nine airlines.

    Countries Visited:
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Iceland, England, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Chile, USA, Cuba, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Plus Antarctica
