Highlights: Outsmarted by monkeys, enjoyable 1.5 hour hike to magnificent waterfall, relaxing Hot Springs.
It’s not often that I learn that monkeys are both smarter and more devious than me.

Highlights: Ride across the ocean, Boquete room next to a river stream.An easy travel day as our tour group started our migration to the next stop. You can always spot the migratory group with their backpackers and strollers with their looks of “Why am I up so early?” and “What country am I in?” expressions.

Highlights: Swimming in the Caribbean Sea, Wild Water Boat Ride.Today I ended up swimming and floating in the beautiful warm Caribbean Ocean in the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro 🙂

Highlights: Night Water Taxi with no lights and Festival Time!After a night listening to the local music played until 3 am today was a day to ‘sleep in’ and enjoy my room overlooking the beautiful ocean. This town is definitely a party town based on last nights activity and the fact almost no one was up doing anything in the morning confirmed the pace was quiet during the day.

Highlights: Long Border Crossing, 50th country visited, Boat ride to our Island.At 8 am we all assembled on time for our bus ride to the Panama border. Unfortunately the rain started at the same time we walked to the bus stop. Liza got me to ride with the bags in a taxi and I unloaded them and attempted to keep them all dry with some success.
