With me recently passing a significant weight goal on my path to greater and sustainable health as I near retirement, I decided it was time to reward myself. I did so by booking a 13-day South Pacific Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line for November 2027 (a 16-day trip overall to the South Pacific).
This trip will see me visit French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, American Samoa, the Samoa Islands, and Fiji. We will visit the ports of Papeete, Moʻorea, Bora Bora, Raiatea (all in French Polynesia), Rarotonga (Cook Islands), Pago Pago (American Samoa), Apia (Samoa Islands), and Suva (Fiji).

This will be my second ever cruise after cruising in the Caribbean in 2024. I was thinking that some sun, swimming and exploring nature would be a great way to finish 2027. This is also a good way to continue my transition to retirement in January 2029 as I enjoy te fruits of my financial and healthly lifestyle investments and leave corporate stress behind.

My niece Darby will be accompanying me on this trip. Darby is becoming a regular on my trips with this being our third planned trip together starting with our 2024 European trip.
I’ve now updated my countries page to cover both 2026 and 2027 booked trips and the planned mega 2028 trip. I’ve also started looking into excursions for this cruise and I’m very excited by the possibilities. The only downside of being this excited is that this trip is 19 months away 😦
