Highlights: Relaxing
I waited 3 hours for my pick up from 7 am which never showed up :(. Eventually I organised for this tour to be rescheduled to Friday otherwise I will be seeking a refund. On the good side it did rain on and off during the day so hopefully Friday will have better weather.
This meant I needed a new plan and that plan was leaving the ‘Tourist’ zone and heading into Cancun downtown. That meant a 40 minute bus ride to Plaza Las Americas. This was part tourist part locals mall. I visited the Mexican version of a Walmart for some new travelling supplies. Just like in South Park they seem to sell everything.
I was going to go and see the movie ‘Skyfall’ but unfortunately the times didn’t match. It costs about 5 AUD to see new releases. Fortunately while waiting for the bus to return I got lucky and it didn’t rain.
From here it was time to relax at the resort and later watch the Walking Dead episodes my good friend Jon uploaded to dropbox for me.
