Highlights: Spare empty economy seat next to me

It turned out that the flight home to Melbourne would not be delayed.

This meant do next to nothing at a nearby airport hotel checking out as late as possible and then checking in ‘early’ at 8 pm for the 11 pm flight home.

The best thing about this flight home was I had an empty seat next to me, always makes these long (14 hour plus) overnight flights a lot easier.

Nothing significant on the flight home occurred.  I arrived back in Melbourne, was picked up by my loving mother who then drove me home to go straight to bed (after a shower).  I’m returning to work tomorrow, not need to waste an annual leave unless I have no choice.
