    It was finally the day of my first leisure cruise. I woke up excited and went straight into research mode. My check-in time wasn’t until 11.30 am and I was only a 25-minute Uber from the Terminal so I had a bit of free time.

    Highlights: Experiencing the Florida Keys chain of bridges, Conch Train Tour of Key West, Erin arriving in Melbourne, Talking to my family at their Christmas lunch

    Today I had organised a 15+ hour day trip down to Key West. I had been fascinated with this key of islands and bridge linking to Key West since watching the movie True Lies.

    Highlights: Farewlling Erin, Sunset on Miami Beach

    On day 25 of this world trip it was time to farewell my niece after an amazing adventure together. Erin was ready to go home after such a fast-paced trip. I’m not as sure I was ready for her to leave.

    We started our last day in Ecuador with a nice buffet breakfast at the hotel and then took a nice walk around El Ejido Park which was right across from the Hilton Colon Hotel.
