While my World Trip 2026 is still 16 months away a lot has recently occurred.
Most importantly my employer had granted me approval for 8 weeks leave. I’ve also paid for tour on first leg, commencing in November 2026, and put down a deposit for the second tour activity.
Over the last 12 months, I’ve been slowly upgrading and fixing up my apartment. This started with painting the apartment, replacing an old bed, replacing the toilet, replacing the blinds / curtains, and replacing the couches.
Petra – A wonder of the modern world I want to visit
With my 2024-25 world trip behind me I’m now focused on what is next. Having visited 90 countries so far I’ve issued a challenge to myself to experience 100 countries before I retire (hopefully sometime before 2029 and 2032).
