One of the joys of traveling is learning about other cultures. Most of my travel was inspired by others, hearing their stories and their experience. Becoming a little jealous in this case was a good thing as it inspired me to act.
My first major trip as an adult was in 1999-2000 which I loved so much but I found myself 5 years later having not travelled again. Time flies so fast and if you are not careful it will be gone and the experiences you wanted are no longer possible or out of reached.
I have hoped to inspire my nieces and nephews to consider exploring and experiencing the world. One of my nieces has been infected the travel bug and has been planning of a significant trip to South America and Central America in 2026.
So I’ve had the joy of assisting Darby work out the best options for travel in this region. Last week Darby booked her return flights, this with her other flights and bookings means her 90-day adventure commencing in June 2026 is now set. Darby will be travelling to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
Darby will be undertaking three separate G Adventure tours:
- Tour 1 – The Great South American Journey: Quito to Rio Adventure
- Tour 2 – Colombia Express
- Tour 3 – Costa Rica Quest
The first tour is really four small tours combined.
I’m so excited for Darby and I’ll be following her new travel blog No Fixed Plans.
I see Darby has the next generation of traveller exploring the world, not that I’m finished yet although I am jealous of her future adventures!
