Saturday 29 September 2012. Highlights: Jurong Bird Park, Listening to AFL Grand Final, Meeting new tour group. Today’s schedule should see at visit to Jurong Bird Park, AFL Grand Final (on Internet radio), checking out the shops, moving hotels and finally meeting my G Adventure tour group.

Friday 28 September 2012. Highlights: Sentosa Island, Singapore Zoo Night Safari No problems waking up today, must be the favourable 2 hour time zone change. The included breakfast was very fulling and set me up for me first tour exploring a new country.

Thursday 27 September 2012 Highlights: Business Class lounges, British Airways relaxing business class flight, lightning display on arrival to Singapore. My 139 day world trip adventure finally begins today with a 9.30 am flight to start from Melbourne to Sydney which means an easy morning, no OMG getting up at 4 am or anything crazy…

In 4 days I commence extended leave and travel round the world. Over 139 days I’ll be visiting 18 countries and Antarctica. Well I’ve basically completed my clothing checklist for the cold environment in Antarctica and Iceland. Let’s see; – expensive wet weather jacket – thermal underwear – water proof pants Plus I purchased ear plugs, hiking pants and a travel wallet. Almost done now. Just need to work out if I need a new digital camera.…
