Outback Australia 2022 Trip Update

Cable Beach, Broome Western Australia

With it now only being 34 days out for my first trip and holiday since August 2019 travelling to remote Australia across Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia I’m starting to get very excited. Even better I’ll be taking this trip with my amazing sister Kara.

Emma Gorge, Western Australia

I’ve now organised for a cat sitter, purchased some new travel / outback clothes, booked all flights, and paid for the tour.

Miriam National Park, Western Australia

This trip starts with flights from Melbourne to Perth and then Perth to Broome on QANTAS. I’m a little concerned by all the reports of airline issues with travel these days, I’m just hoping flights are on time and bags make it there on time. I’ve request an upgrade to Business Class for the Melbourne to Perth flight which would be a nice bonus at the start.

Katherine, Northern Territory

From Broome we will be travelling to Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Emma Gorge, Kununurra, then into Northern Territory and Katherine, then to Darwin and finally 3 nights on Ghan train stopping at Alice Springs and Coober Peddy (South Australia) and finally Adelaide. 16 days of exploring more remote Australia.

I admire your passion for travel the world. I hope you will have the best time with Kara in Western Australia. I can’t wait to hear about it once you come back.
