Africa Trip 2017-18: Day 3 Nairobi, Kenya

Friday 24 November 2017. Photos.
Highlights: Relaxing

Today was a very simple day relaxing at the Wildebeest Eco Camp. I woke up around 4 am local time but forced myself to sleep longer to get into the local Timezone, much easier then forcing yourself to stay awake.

The camp grounds are very picturesque, very relaxing and calm. There were actually very few people staying here but as the day went on I noticed a few people check in that I’m sure will be part of the On The Go Tour technically starting tomorrow at 5 pm but really starting on Sunday.

Using the wifi in the dinning / lounge area I used a lot of the day to catch up on my blog posts and flight and lounge reviews.

My tent is very large as it can actually sleep three people but I get it all to myself. Sunday will be the last time I have such a luxury for sometime.

I did meet and befriend the local cat and dog, very friendly and well feed residents of the camp. Tomorrow I’ll be going on a day tour of Nairobi during the day before attending the tour kick off meeting.
