Highlights: Hampton Court Palace, Riding on a London double decker bus
After a very late start Jeanne, Jon and I headed off to Hampton Court Palace. This is the grandest example of Tudor style buildings. We saw Henry VIII’s State Apartments, Tudor Kitchen, King & Queen State Apartments and Georgian Rooms. The gardens proved to be another highlight.
In many ways this is similar to Chateau De Versailles in Paris in that it cost and enormous amount and is very grand, only this was done earlier and the King was dragged out to his death. We finished the day with a ride in one of the famous London double decker buses.
