Highlights: Getting fitted for Tailored Suits, The War Remnants Museum, Cyclo Tour of Ho Chi Ming City.

It was an early morning, or supposed to be, to ensure we made our 9.55 flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Ming City. However my alarm didn’t work luckily my sub-conscious alerted me it might be time to get up and make a dash to reception and the bus at the very last minute! There was just enough time to make the flight.

Highlights: Hang Sung Sot Caves, Hoa Lo Prison (aka Hanoi Hilton),  Cyclo (Rickshaw) tour, Water Puppet Show

Highlights: The views from Mount Phousi, Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre, the amazing Kouang Si Waterfall.

A free morning for the group meant optional activities or a sleep in and pool day choice, I decided to head into town by myself and climb to the top of Mount Phousi and visit Wat Chomsi (top of mountain) and the Wat Tham Phousi shrine (which is about half way up).  Mount Phousi gives you a great view of both rivers surrounding Luang Prabang, the Meokng River and the Nam Khan River.
