Highlights: Giant tortoises, the Santa Cruz Island landscape, exploring the Reina Silvia Voyager
We were up before 4 am to prepare for our early morning flight to the Galapagos Islands. A breakfast pack was waiting for us as we boarded our transport for the airport.

Highlights: Hummingbirds Paradise Alambi Reserve, El Quetzal de Mindo (Chocolate Factory), Mariposario Mariposas de Mindo (Butterfly Farm)
Setting out at 7.30 am we had a day of adventure and discovery on the final day of our Ecuador’s Amazon and Volcanoes tour. Today’s activities were replacements for not being able to stay in the Amazon earlier in the trip.

Highlights: Pailón del Diablo, Manto de la Novia cable car, Hacienda la Ciénega
Today was mostly a repositioning day returning to Quito to allow for Friday replacement activities for missing out on staying in the Amazon. We still had a couple of activities on the drive there.

Highlights: Tarabita waterfall, Jardin Botanico Las Orquideas (Botanical Gardens), Yanacocha Rescue Center
Today was activities in the Amazon region to replace those lost when we couldn’t go to Tena. We were warned to be prepared for rain but also the humidity.
