    Saturday 14 December 2024Highlights: Giant tortoises, the Santa Cruz Island landscape, exploring the Reina Silvia Voyager We were up before 4 am to prepare for our early morning flight to the Galapagos Islands. A breakfast pack was waiting for us as we boarded our transport for the airport.

    Thursday 12 December 2024Highlights: Pailón del Diablo, Manto de la Novia cable car, Hacienda la Ciénega Today was mostly a repositioning day returning to Quito to allow for Friday replacement activities for missing out on staying in the Amazon. We still had a couple of activities on the drive there.

    Wednesday 11 December 2024Highlights: Tarabita waterfall, Jardin Botanico Las Orquideas (Botanical Gardens), Yanacocha Rescue Center Today was activities in the Amazon region to replace those lost when we couldn’t go to Tena. We were warned to be prepared for rain but also the humidity.
