Highlights: A Titanic Movie moment, Captain’s Corner Q&A, Enjoying Showtime Production – Wild, Cool & Swingin’

A Sea Day was ahead of me as the Explorer of the Seas set course for Maimi. I started with breakfast in the Main Dining Room (MDR). If it lines up with my activities I prefer going to the MDR, the orange juice tastes better and the food is freshly prepared. Today I enjoyed French Toast and pancakes.

After breakfast, I went to the front of the ship (known as the bow), for a Titanic movie moment standing at the point of the ship as the water and wind rushed by, although I didn’t shout “King of the World”.

I tried to get some exercise by walking laps on Deck 4 which has a nice walking track.

Later I attend a QA session with senior crew called Captain’s Corner. It was interesting hearing the histories of the senior crew and their highlights. Alhough one attendee only came to complain about the cost of the alcohol package which was a wasted question.

In my room, I booked my final hotel of the trip new Dallas Fort Worth Airport and booked a new flight from Miami to Dallas now via Atlanta which might be a saving of 4.5 hours compared to the original flight which had a long layover in Pensacola.

The major highlight for the day was the Showtime Production – Wild, Cool & Swingin’ in Theatre on Decks 3 to 4. This performance featured hit classic USA songs from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Another enjoyable evening as the cruise quickly comes to an end.
