World Trip 2024-25: Day 27 – Miami, USA

Highlights: Exploring Miami Beach at night

A very relaxed day before my Caribbean Cruise commencing tomorrow as all I had planned for today.

I got up early to walk down to Miami Beach for sunrise. The cool air and the beautiful sunrise made for a relaxing start to the day.

I pick up some food items from CVS noting just how expensive they were. I’m not sure if this is because of CVS, the local (Miami Beach), or the cost of living crisis or a combination but even trying to buy cheap leaves a big cost.

I prepared for the cruise by reviewing what to do YouTube videos and reading articles. This leisure cruise is for the first time, going along with the exploration cruise (Antarctica) and adventure cruise (Galapagos).

I had booked a walking tour for Ghosts of Miami Beach but I could not find the local guide. Very disappointing. On the positive side, I did get to walk along the shoreline and enjoy the sights and colours of Miami after dark.

Given this was Christmas there were a lot of people partying into the night.
