Highlights: Universal Studios in particular Backlot Tours and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride.
A big day at Universal Studios was ahead followed up being a trip to the airport for an overnight flights to get to Maimi.
We had a big breakfast, not that was Erin’s plan but the French Toast order came out with huge toast and four slices. The serving looked bigger than Erin’s head! We checked out and got the hotel to hold our bags and headed off to Universal Studios Hollywood via the LA Metro system.
Universal Studios Hollywood for general admission cost in Australian $244.95. Which is steep cost but it turned out to be worth it.
During the day we did the following:
- Kong Fu Panda
- Waterworld
- Raptor Encounter
- Jurassic World
- Transformers 4D
- Mummy Ride (Erin only)
- Studio Tour Skull Island, Fast and Furious, underground earthquake, Jaws, town flood
- Simpson Ride (Kristyland)
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (a real highlight!)
- Flight of the Hippogriff (Erin only)
- Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
- Hogwarts Castle Night Show
We were at the park for over 7 hours.
A metro ride but to our hotel and than an Uber ride saw as back at Los Angeles International Airport for our overnight flights to Maimi (via Orlando).
It was a great day but now for an exhausting night.
