While my European trip with Darby only finished one month ago my thoughts are already turning to the world trip 2024-25 plans with my other niece Erin.
In 180 days we will both be jetting off to visit the USA and Ecuador with the major highlights being first a tour of Ecuador, including a visit o the Amazon.
The second major highlight will be a 10 days cruise of the Galápagos Islands.
After these tours Erin will depart to be home in time for Christmas and I’ll stay on for a 10 day Caribbean cruise on the Explorer of the Seas (Royal Caribbean).
This will be my second ever cruise, assuming the cruise to Antartica counts. I expect this to be very different type of cruise.
A chance to show another family member the world and get to know them better should be very enriching experience by itself. Doing this in stunning natural environments should be extra special.
The Caribbean cruise will be a chance to try something very different. If it goes well I might even doing future cruises to places I hdn’t been.
The ports we are susposed to visit are; Haiti, Puerto Rico, St Maarten, Antigua, St Lucia, and St Kitts Nevis. I have to assume Haiti will not be visited given the violence on that island.
Six more months and I’m on the road again 🙂
