After working out my plans for a sole Balkans trip in March 2024 one of my nieces (Darby) reached out an asked if she could join me on a trip to this region. As I’m already planning on taking another niece (Erin) for a trip to Ecuador in December 2024 so in fairness I had to say yes.
Plus always a major bonus travelling with a young and excited traveller who can really bring a lot of energy and different insights
As a result the March 2024 trip was been abandoned and I’ve instead booked us a new trip with G Adventures titled Eastern Europe, Croatia and the Balkans for April 2024.
This tour will see me revisiting some countries in Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria but with Darby providing the fresh eyes.
I’ll be visiting for the first time Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Monenegro, and Croatia. So the tour will be a good mix of old and new for me.
We will also spend 1 day in Helsinki, Finland before the tour and 1 extra day in Singapore to break up to long travel times from Australia to this region.
