Highlights: Business Class Flight Home, Reuniting with my pets

The final stage of this trip was my last flight home from Kuala Lumper to Melbourne on Malaysian Airlines in Business Class. This was my first long haul flight on Malaysian Airlines and I was very happy with the experience, a good use of award points (see review here).

We arrived almost on time in Melbourne and Immigrations and Customs went off fairly easy despite being subject to a random extra check at Customs.

My brother had volunteered to pick me up from the airport, taking the day off to do so which is above and beyond. We went to pick up Boots and Juno as I hoped they would forgive me for 6 weeks away. They did remember me, but they hesitated for a while, the cattery might have been too much fun.

Once home after unpacking and doing laundry the cats eventually were won over by food and catnip 🙂

This has been an amazing trip. I was a little nervous on my first post pandemic lockdown trip and also on the region I was worried I might have negative experiences but it proved a worthwhile trip.
