World Trip 2016: Day 13 Ho Chi Ming City to Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Thursday 21 July 2016.  Photos and Videos.

Highlights: Apricot Lounge Access, Tuk Tuk ride to Riverbank Phnom Penh

Today was light on for activities as the main objective was to leave Vietnam and head for Cambodia.  Hotel checkout was noon and other than breakfast I stayed in my room updating journal and uploading Facebook photos and YouTube videos.

Today’s flight was on Qatar Airlines which is a Oneworld Alliance member meaning I had access to a business lounge in this case the Apricot Lounge Access.  I was allowed one guest from our group and as Sarah wasn’t feeling well she was the lucky individual.  We were the only ones there, the free food and drinks were very welcome.  We liberated some snacks to take back to the group.

Our arrival into Phnom Penh was delayed so the Cyclo tour was postponed to tomorrow.  We still however got a tuk tuk ride to the Royal Palace and a walk along the banks of the city.

A must needed laundry drop off was done and and early night before this last leg in Cambodia of the G-Adventure-Natuonal Geographic tour.
